We’re hiring at our Sarasota and University Park stores and looking for customer service and sales-focused rockstars to support our elevated service model. If you thrive in a fast-paced retail environment and love helping customers find the perfect fit, we want to meet you!

At Peltz Shoes, we deliver Service, Selection, and Sizes through our omni-channel sales approach and personalized customer experience. Our team members are expected to maintain high levels of energy, engagement, and professionalism throughout the day, interacting with customers and driving results.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Leadership

• Set and achieve sales targets through effective team management and motivation
• Provide ongoing training and development to sales associates to enhance product knowledge and selling skills
• Analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to optimize sales

Customer Service Excellence

• Foster a customer-centric culture among the sales team, ensuring that customers receive exceptional service
• Maintain a high level of engagement with every customer, every day
• Address customer inquiries, concerns, and escalations in a professional and timely manner

Operational Management

• Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures
• Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the inventory team to maintain optimal stock levels
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Visual Merchandising

• Collaborate with the visual merchandising team to create attractive displays and maintain a visually appealing store environment

Team Collaboration

• Foster a positive and collaborative working environment among the sales team
• Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, promotions, and updates

• High school diploma or equivalent; degree in Business or Retail Management is a plus
• Previous retail experience; supervisory experience preferred for management roles
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Customer-focused mindset with a passion for helping others
• Ability to thrive in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with POS systems and basic computer skills
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
