Consistent punctuality and attendance are required. Training involves a Monday-Friday schedule from 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM for up to three weeks. Patient Escort/ Transporter Job Description: Escorts hospital and ambulatory patients traveling by wheelchair stretcher or hydraulic stretcher to their destinations. Patient Escort/ Transporter t Job Duties/Responsibilities/Functions including but not limited to Complete Daily Disinfection Tracking Log for each patient that is escorted from one of the Patient Entry Points to their 1st appointment/destination capturing Sanitize the wheelchair prior to each patient using the Wheelchair High-Touch Disinfection/Inspection Protocol Following the Equipment Checklist for Assisting Patients on and off the wheelchair Transport each patient in a timely and safe manner to the initial appointment from the Entry Point.
