Job Description

Responsibilities

• Oracle architecture understanding and database administration
• Oracle software installation, upgrades, patching, database creation & configuration knowledge
• Performance tuning
• Logical backup strategy (Like Data Pump or exp, expdp)
• Managing schemas, creation of schemas and objects
• OEM monitoring of DB
• Alert resolution related to DB like (ORA-)
• Shell scripting and space management
• Backup and recovery (Online / Offline) knowledge
• Knowledge of report generation AWR/ADDM/ASH
• Data Guard configuration Knowledge
• Knowledge of logical and physical DB configuration like db parameters
• RMAN backup and restore
• Installation, Golden Gate configuration and troubleshooting
• Monitoring LAG and RBA, Log Dump; knowledge of discard and report file parameter
• Well knowledge of GG processes like (Mgr/ extract / Pump / Replicat)
• Alert resolution, HANDLECOLLISIONS, Different stage of Processes
• Patch and upgrade of Golden Gate
• Mapping error resolution and Defgent creation
• Well knowledge of table addition in Golden Gate and syncing table
• Stop and start of GG process in standalone or RAC based GG DB server
